Oregon State Bar Committees

Committees assist the Board of Governors in its oversight and policy-making responsibilities by pursuing general and specific BOG assignments. Most standing committees serve on a three-year rotating basis. Each year new members constituting one-third of the committee are appointed by the BOG for three-year terms. Appointments are made from the committee preference list which is compiled from the committee preference forms returned by the members. Committee terms begin on January 1 of each year.
